Base Salary

$198k - $268k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical interface for customers throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Act as the domain authority for Linux kernel and drivers.
  • Perform hands-on debugging across firmware, silicon, and system-level issues, including multi-socket and interconnect configuration problems.
  • Debug integration issues involving DDR, PCIe, and other high-speed interfaces in collaboration with hardware teams.
  • Lead customer issue triage, prioritization, root-cause analysis, and resolution with internal Arm engineering teams.
  • Deliver technical enablement through workshops, training sessions, and documentation.
  • Feed findings from customer engagements back into internal engineering and product development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in silicon, firmware, or server platform development and bring-up.
  • Strong hands-on experience with system bring-up and debugging for sophisticated SoC-based platforms.
  • Expertise in OS enablement in firmware using ACPI and Devicetree.
  • Experience with Linux bring-up and debugging, including boot logs, kernel parameters, and early boot diagnostics.
  • Understanding of server platform architecture, including CPU, memory, interconnect, and I/O subsystems.
  • Familiarity with PCIe and DDR from a software perspective.
  • Strong customer-facing communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly.
  • Experience driving multifunctional collaboration and issue resolution in a global engineering environment.
  • Experience with multi-socket systems and coherency fabrics such as CMN is preferred.
  • Familiarity with BMC/OpenBMC and system management flows is preferred.
  • Scripting experience with Python or Bash for debugging and automation is preferred.
  • Experience delivering technical training or customer workshops is preferred.
  • Prior customer-facing engineering experience, such as FAE, AE, or system integration, is preferred.
