Responsibilities
- Support onboarding of applications to the enterprise deployment platform and help teams adopt deployment and operational standards.
- Support production and non-production releases, including implementation plans, validation, rollback procedures, and deployment troubleshooting.
- Develop automation scripts and tools, enhance CI/CD pipelines, and automate repetitive operational processes.
- Support Kafka, RabbitMQ, API Gateway, certificate management, connectivity, provisioning, and configuration validation.
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, problem management, monitoring, and production stability initiatives.
- Maintain operational runbooks, deployment procedures, and knowledge management materials.
- Support vulnerability remediation, security improvements, audit activities, and compliance with organizational controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 4–7 years of software engineering, DevOps, platform engineering, or production support experience.
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications and working in Agile development environments.
- Strong knowledge of Java-based applications and microservices architecture.
- Experience with Linux/Unix systems administration, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Kafka, RabbitMQ, scripting, and SQL databases.
- Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, GitLab, or similar CI/CD tools; Shell or Python scripting; release deployment; change management; production support; incident management; and troubleshooting.
- Preferred qualifications include financial services or payment-platform experience, observability and monitoring experience, infrastructure-as-code and automation experience, AWS, Azure, or GCP exposure, highly available application support, and security or compliance experience.
