Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, program, debug, test, and modify software enhancements and new products using current programming languages and technologies.
- Develop and customize IST Switch, IST Clearing, MAS, or equivalent EFT-switch applications.
- Write technical specifications, complete documentation, and prepare installation and maintenance procedures.
- Gather and analyze system requirements with product managers, users, and clients.
- Participate in software design meetings and determine technical requirements from user needs.
- Support software testing, deployment, configuration, implementation, and client onboarding activities.
- Train and communicate with internal Client Training, Client Relationship, and Sales teams on system applications.
- Develop or execute project plans, budgets, and schedules when required.
- Deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business audiences when required.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of relevant IT experience.
- At least 7 years of experience in software implementation, professional services, application consulting, or system integration.
- Experience developing and customizing IST Switch, IST Clearing, MAS, or an equivalent EFT switch.
- Experience gathering and analyzing client business requirements.
- Experience with ISO8583, EMV, and the payments domain.
- Experience participating in software testing, deployment, configuration, or client onboarding activities.
- Proficiency in C and C++.
- Experience with Oracle Database, SQL, Unix, and shell scripting.
- Bitbucket, Git, SVN, JIRA, Pay Sim, or VTS Simulator experience is optional.
