Responsibilities
- Create and assure key architecture artefacts such as key design decisions, technical options papers, and high-level designs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams as a lead subject matter expert to define technical vision and establish architectural guardrails.
- Support senior leaders in shaping cases for change, cost estimation, and detailed planning.
- Apply architecture and delivery methodologies across multiple teams, stakeholders, and architectural domains.
- Use technical skills to solve client problems while also contributing to internal projects.
Requirements
- Hands-on software engineering background with experience leading engineering teams to deliver applications and services.
- Clear understanding and practical application of architecture and delivery methodologies.
- Specialism in at least one architectural domain: Business, Data, Application, Technology, or Security, with confidence across the broader domains.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, collaboration, and stakeholder-management abilities.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
- Certifications in relevant methodologies and cloud technologies are advantageous.
- Experience across leading technology vendors such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Oracle, IBM, and Salesforce is welcomed.
