Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and validate control and estimation algorithms for the Waymo Driver.
- Engineer C++ software for reliable autonomous vehicle control.
- Build simulation tools in Python and C++ to analyze vehicle performance.
- Extract insights from field data and simulations for cross-functional stakeholders.
- Drive innovation by reviewing motion planning designs and establishing safety requirements.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering focused on Control or Estimation, or equivalent experience.
- Over 4 years of experience with automotive control algorithms in C++.
- Deep understanding of vehicle dynamics and control.
- Exceptional communication skills for technical concepts.
