Responsibilities
- Design, configure, develop, test, implement, and support ServiceNow applications and platform enhancements.
- Translate business requirements into maintainable ServiceNow solutions emphasizing configuration over customization.
- Build and maintain secure integrations with internal and external systems using ServiceNow integration capabilities and APIs.
- Support releases, deployments, update sets, application maintenance, upgrades, release promotion, and platform governance.
- Develop unit and regression test plans, resolve defects, and validate functional and technical requirements.
- Support production applications through monitoring, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and rotational after-hours support.
- Contribute to technical planning, estimation, code reviews, security and compliance activities, and Agile/Scrum delivery.
- Create technical, support, and knowledge-sharing documentation for ServiceNow solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field, or a minimum of four years of related industry experience in lieu of the degree.
- At least five years of ServiceNow development, configuration, and administration experience, including hands-on ITSM and SPM experience.
- Experience supporting and enhancing ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules.
- Experience with ServiceNow administration, applications, users, roles, groups, access controls, platform settings, JavaScript, client-side and server-side scripting, and Glide APIs.
- Experience with Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, Service Catalog, Service Portal, Flow Designer, reporting, and dashboards.
- Knowledge of ITSM and ITIL principles, including Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge Management, and Service Catalog concepts.
- Experience with REST and SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, IntegrationHub, MID Server, OAuth, and ServiceNow platform security.
- Preferred qualifications include ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, and CIS; advanced ServiceNow capabilities; Platform Analytics and Performance Analytics; enterprise integrations and data migration; AngularJS; ATF; automated regression testing; Git; Azure DevOps; Agile/Scrum; and advanced SPM capabilities.
