Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement software across requirements gathering, system design, coding, testing, deployment, and operations.
- Translate customer and business needs into scalable, performant, and maintainable technical solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams through design reviews and technical discussions.
- Mentor and coach engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing.
- Investigate operational issues, identify root causes, and deliver permanent reliability improvements.
- Evaluate and integrate generative AI capabilities to improve development productivity, code quality, and customer experience.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- 1+ year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- 1+ year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- 1+ year of Object Oriented Design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: experience using generative AI tools, crafting effective prompts, and critically evaluating AI-generated outputs in a professional setting.
