Responsibilities
- Collaborate with software development and engineering deployment teams to ensure high-quality products and customer satisfaction.
- Author, execute, and maintain test charters, test cases, procedures, plans, automated test scripts, and code.
- Design, develop, implement, and improve testing methodologies, plans, and automation.
- Review defect descriptions, requirements, and designs and incorporate findings into test plans.
- Develop installation, test, and release automation and perform system administration.
- Build and configure continuous integration environments for testing.
- Create and communicate testing status dashboards.
- Evaluate, recommend, and deploy tools and technologies to improve quality assurance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with test automation using Python.
- Experience in software quality assurance and testing, including automation testing best practices.
- High-level scripting skills with Python, Perl, or Shell scripting.
- Knowledge of QA tools and methodologies and experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Robot, and Apache JMeter.
- Proficiency with Linux, Windows, and UNIX environments.
- Proficiency with source control systems such as CVS, Subversion, or Git.
- Experience with quality assurance within an Agile methodology.
- Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, Cassandra, or MongoDB.
- Experience with server virtualization, especially VMware and vSphere.
- Ability to create and communicate testing status dashboards and collaborate with geographically distributed teams.
- Strong written, verbal, interpersonal communication, and collaboration skills.
