Base Salary
$143k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop architecture assessment agents for critical end-to-end business services at enterprise scale.
- Represent a product family in technical governance bodies and improve architecture governance practices.
- Apply enterprise-authorized AI capabilities with human-in-the-loop validation and appropriate handling of sensitive data.
- Evaluate current and emerging technologies and influence adoption of scalable, resilient, secure, and effective solutions.
- Drive architecture decisions affecting product design, application functionality, technical operations, and engineering processes across multiple teams.
- Develop secure production code, review and debug code written by others, and provide hands-on technical leadership throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
- Serve as a function-wide subject matter expert and advocate for software development lifecycle frameworks and practices.
- Establish reusable AI-enabled engineering patterns and governance across software development and toolchain practices.
- Provide technical guidance to business teams, technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in architecture concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages and deep expertise in software architecture, applications, and technical processes.
- Experience applying enterprise-authorized AI capabilities in architecture and engineering workflows with strong validation and data-sensitivity practices.
- Ability to integrate AI-enabled capabilities into enterprise architectures while meeting resiliency, security, and auditability requirements.
- Ability to independently solve design and functionality problems with little to no oversight.
- Experience evaluating emerging technologies and recommending future-state architecture solutions.
- Strong judgment, decision-making, stakeholder management, communication, and technical influence skills.
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale technology solutions with attention to scalability, resiliency, security, operational stability, and sustainability.
- Preferred: experience with TOGAF or equivalent architecture governance frameworks.
- Preferred: exposure to cloud, AI/data, distributed systems, platform-based architectures, and enterprise modernization.
- Preferred: experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery, Infrastructure as Code, observability, automation, and modern software development lifecycle practices.
- Preferred: relevant TOGAF, cloud, ITIL, CISSP, or equivalent certifications.
- Preferred: experience driving enterprise-wide initiatives and working in regulated environments involving operational resilience, third-party risk, and governance.
