Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize highly available multi-account and multi-region AWS and GCP cloud network architectures.
- Automate and manage global cloud network infrastructure using Terraform through Git-driven CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage BGP routing, IPsec VPNs, and dynamic connectivity between AWS, GCP, regional points of presence, and external banking partners.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex cloud networking issues, improve network visibility, and participate in a global on-call rotation.
- Collaborate with Security, DevOps, and Platform teams to build secure Landing Zones and automated network controls.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience designing and operating AWS network environments at scale, including VPC, Transit Gateway, route tables, Direct Connect, and AWS Network Firewall.
- Proficiency with Terraform or equivalent infrastructure-as-code tools for provisioning and automating cloud network components.
- Practical experience with GCP networking concepts such as Shared VPC and Cloud Router or with multi-cloud environments.
- Familiarity with Linux distributions, Python or Bash scripting, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of routing and switching, subnetting, TCP/IP, and BGP dynamic routing principles.
- Associate-level networking certification or equivalent hands-on experience, such as CCNA, JNCIA-Junos, HCIA, Aruba ACA, Network+, AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty, or GCP PCNE.
- Experience in fintech, local banking, high-concurrency or high-availability financial networks, advanced certifications, and AI-assisted operational workflows are preferred.
