Responsibilities
- Design and develop features for the AlertMedia Mass Comms product.
- Learn the AlertMedia platform and its uses for customers.
- Work with Python, Elixir, JavaScript, Next.js, React, and other web technologies.
- Utilize AI-enabled tools to support development and productivity.
- Participate in an Agile environment using tools like Git, JIRA, Jenkins, and Slack.
- Contribute innovative ideas to enhance technology in the product line.
- Communicate effectively with engineering and product teams.
- Support AlertMedia’s culture and values.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred.
- 6-8 years of experience building scalable web applications.
- Experience with Elixir/Python/Django/JavaScript tech stack preferred.
- Experience with Linux-based containers using Docker or Kubernetes.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services or other cloud services is required.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and other storage technologies required.
- Established practice of writing unit and integration tests.
- Active user of AI tools and modern developer platforms.
- Collaborative mindset to partner with engineers and leadership.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding communication skills and strong English proficiency.
