Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Guide development and optimization of next-generation Android Glasses applications.
- Develop concurrency models and high-performance, privacy-compliant image-processing pipelines.
- Establish testing, monitoring, and infrastructure frameworks to ensure product quality.
- Align cross-product and cross-functional teams to deliver user journeys for milestones, dogfoods, and launches.
- Build foundational camera features with the Glasses Platform team and resolve low-level system challenges for improved hardware-software integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience in Kotlin or C++.
- At least 3 years of Android application development and Android camera experience.
- At least 3 years of image-processing experience.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
- At least 1 year of experience with large-scale application design and architecture.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies and with iOS development.
