Responsibilities
- Own engineering outcomes across design, development, testing, and delivery.
- Build and maintain platform SDKs and APIs that enable cloud connectivity.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure software is clean, tested, maintainable, and performant.
- Support DevOps pipelines and contribute to the quality engineering framework when required.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to design and deliver scalable solutions.
- Solve engineering problems related to AI and cloud data platforms.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive engineering environment.
Requirements
- 2+ years of software design and development experience.
- Strong programming knowledge in Java.
- Experience with API and/or SDK development is preferred.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of RESTful APIs, cloud-based data handling, and real-time data communication.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, take ownership, and maintain high code quality.
- Preferred qualifications include Python, generative AI, protocol optimization, efficient RPC systems, networking, concurrency, distributed computing, big data, stream processing, and cloud data platform experience.
