Base Salary
$160k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and technical decision-making across Growth Studio teams and define the product’s long-term technical direction.
- Define scalable patterns for services, APIs, data flows, integrations, and AI-enabled workflows.
- Partner with Product Managers, Engineering, UX Design, QA, and Operations on technical roadmaps and implementation plans.
- Architect solutions for complex product and platform problems involving customer workflows, data quality, performance, and AI outcomes.
- Guide integrations with internal and external systems and data sources.
- Establish software design, secure coding, observability, performance, and maintainability practices.
- Conduct architecture and code reviews and provide technical feedback across teams.
- Lead proofs of concept and technical spikes to validate approaches and reduce delivery risk.
- Mentor engineers in system design, tradeoff analysis, technical communication, and architecture.
- Create technical documentation, diagrams, and decision records.
- Help apply AI technologies to the product and software development lifecycle.
- Engage with customer-facing teams or customers on complex technical issues when needed.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building and evolving complex software products, with significant technical leadership, solution design, or architecture experience.
- Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript-based systems and supporting backend infrastructure.
- Strong experience with modern web application architecture, backend services, APIs, and distributed or event-driven systems.
- Experience balancing product velocity with reliability, security, and long-term maintainability.
- Experience with AI-enabled product capabilities, including LLM APIs, prompt engineering, embeddings, or related technologies.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-ownership, ambiguous environment.
- Preferred experience architecting AI-first or data-rich SaaS products in high-growth environments.
- Preferred infrastructure literacy across cloud platforms, networking, containers, or related operational concerns.
- Preferred experience unifying multiple data sources into a single workflow or system of record.
- Preferred experience building agents or automation for product capabilities or engineering effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science listed as a differentiator.

- Annual base salary range of $160,000 to $175,000.
