Base Salary
$150k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full robot-stack regression testing, including happy-path, fault-injection, and recovery tests across software modules, HIL, and software/hardware interfaces.
- Build automated integration tests and logged-data replay or scenario suites to detect performance drift across software and model updates.
- Own test case management and traceability, define pass/fail criteria, and triage failures with robotics software, embedded, and HIL owners.
- Integrate regression testing into CI so software and full-robot releases are validated before fleet rollout.
- Partner with Systems Integration and deployment teams to expand HIL coverage and reproduce or prevent field-reported regressions.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in software testing, robotics or embedded validation, or test automation; senior experience is preferred.
- Strong programming skills in Python and Rust or C++, with experience building automated test frameworks and CI pipelines.
- Familiarity with robotics or embedded middleware such as ROS, ROS2, or custom control frameworks, plus fault injection and logged-data replay.
- Rigor with requirements traceability and defect management.
