Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and debug AI agents and integrations in live enterprise tenant environments.
- Lead technical discovery sessions and develop product configurations, proofs of concept, and integration specifications.
- Troubleshoot complex customer workflows, live data issues, and custom integrations.
- Capture field telemetry, edge-case failures, and customer friction to influence product and engineering priorities.
- Transform recurring deployment challenges into standardized and automated product capabilities.
- Collaborate with AI Deployment Architects, Product Managers, Workday Services leads, and Account Teams.
- Guide customer engagements from kickoff through graduation within standard six-month deployment cycles.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Technical Consulting, or software development.
- Hands-on coding and debugging experience with Python, Java, or similar technologies.
- Understanding of REST APIs, object-oriented design, system architecture, and integration patterns.
- Experience working directly with enterprise clients on complex software deployments, live data troubleshooting, and custom workflow integration.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% to customer sites.
- Strong product thinking, technical communication, collaboration, and ability to operate amid ambiguity.
- Preferred: applied experience with LLM-powered or agentic AI systems, prompt/context engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, evaluations, or agent orchestration frameworks.
