Responsibilities
- Serve as the premier technical authority throughout the enterprise sales cycle.
- Deliver architectural presentations, technical demonstrations, interactive workshops, executive pitches, and technical evaluations.
- Analyze customer requirements and design robust, scalable solutions on the OutSystems platform.
- Partner with Account Executives to develop proposals, RFPs, and RFIs aligned with customer business objectives.
- Evaluate existing IT infrastructure and enterprise architecture to demonstrate OutSystems integration and strategic fit.
- Design and execute high-value proofs of concept with the OutSystems Solution Delivery team.
- Develop and manage channel-partner enablement programs, including technical training and architectural guidance.
- Act as the technical liaison among local customers, partners, and global Product and Support engineering teams.
- Represent OutSystems Japan at industry events, developer communities, and partner seminars.
- Review, proofread, and localize technical announcements for the Japanese market.
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of experience in pre-sales engineering, solution architecture, or senior technical consulting within an enterprise software company.
- Solid understanding of modern web and mobile application development, database concepts, data modeling, enterprise integration patterns, and cloud architectures.
- Familiarity with modern software engineering practices and Agile development methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value for technical and executive audiences.
- Strong understanding of technical architectures, IT market trends, competitive product positioning, and business needs.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Native or bilingual Japanese fluency, including written and verbal business communication and professional Japanese etiquette.
- Working fluency in written and verbal English for collaboration with global product and engineering teams.
- Willingness to travel domestically within Japan for client engagements.
- Strong business acumen is valued.
