Responsibilities
- Coordinate Salesforce release activities, deployment planning, go-live execution, and change management with cross-functional teams.
- Own and optimize Copado CI/CD pipelines, including static analysis, automated testing, environment management, and release governance.
- Implement redundant pipelines, rollback strategies, security controls, and compliance practices across Salesforce deployments.
- Define requirements, track progress in Jira, identify risks, manage configuration changes, and communicate CI/CD initiatives.
- Build AI-driven DevOps solutions, including copilots, autonomous agents, intelligent workflows, and generative AI experiences.
- Build and operate agentic solutions using Claude and custom MCP servers for release notes, deployment impact analysis, regression triage, and compliance reporting.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to troubleshoot deployment defects, improve code quality, and deliver complex implementations.
- Embed code review, continuous integration, automated testing, monitoring, and AI-assisted automation into release cycles.
- Ensure security, data governance, and regulatory compliance across the Salesforce ecosystem.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of DevOps experience with Copado or similar CI/CD tools, including pipeline configuration, Git branching and merging, release management, metadata migrations, and data migrations.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience administering and delivering complex Salesforce platform solutions.
- Experience with Salesforce Custom Objects, Workflow Rules, Custom Fields, Validation Rules, Visualforce, and Lightning.
- Familiarity with static code analysis using SonarQube, PMD, Qwiet, or equivalent tools.
- Experience using Salesforce data tools including Data Loader, Workbench, and Demand Tools.
- Experience creating documentation, training, and communications for feature and process changes.
- Preferred Salesforce certifications include Platform Administrator, Platform Administrator II, Platform Developer II, and Agentforce Specialist.
- Preferred Copado certifications include Fundamentals I and Fundamentals II.
- Ability to explain technical topics clearly to business stakeholders through oral, written, and visual presentations.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, solve complex cross-functional problems, pay attention to detail, and learn new technologies.
