Base Salary
$148k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the long-term technical roadmap for claims management systems.
- Provide architectural leadership and guide strategic decisions across engineering teams.
- Identify bottlenecks in claim handling workflows and drive platform innovations.
- Deliver scalable, reliable, high-quality solutions and code.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external insurance partners for technical alignment.
- Lead code reviews, design reviews, and incident triaging processes.
- Invest in the engineering community through knowledge sharing and process improvements.
Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related technical field or relevant work experience.
- 6+ years of experience building scalable distributed systems.
- Proven ability to build end-to-end products and collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Strong reasoning skills regarding system design tradeoffs and operational costs.
- Experience driving AI adoption or automation initiatives.
- Proficiency in Python; knowledge of React/Next.js and data analysis is a plus.
- Experience with data processing frameworks like Spark, Kafka, and Airflow.
- Strong oral and written interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience in insurance or claims management is a strong plus.
