Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, review, and debug secure, high-quality production software.
- Lead adoption and validation standards for enterprise-authorized AI-assisted coding, code review, testing, and troubleshooting tools.
- Identify and automate recurring issue remediation to improve application and system stability.
- Lead technical evaluation sessions with vendors, startups, and internal teams regarding architecture and integration suitability.
- Coach engineers on safe, compliant, and effective use of AI-assisted engineering practices.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 8+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages, with Java and full-stack React experience indicated by the title.
- Experience leading the effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and validating their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle and advanced understanding of application resiliency and security practices.
- In-depth knowledge of financial services industry IT systems and practical cloud-native experience.
- Familiarity with modern front-end and cloud technologies is preferred.
