Responsibilities

Architect, design, and develop scalable cloud-based data applications and robust enterprise data processing pipelines.
Lead traditional AI and GenAI initiatives and use GitHub Copilot to improve development speed and code quality.
Manage and optimize existing solutions while resolving complex architectural and scalability challenges.
Troubleshoot and debug software and cloud infrastructure issues to support reliability and high availability.
Provide hands-on technical guidance, conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and document solutions.
Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across global, matrixed teams.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
8+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, data engineering, or data science.
Expert-level proficiency in Python, SQL, and PostgreSQL.
Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms, with AWS preferred.
Experience with Terraform, BigQuery, and implementing and scaling messaging systems or similar enterprise tools.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
Exposure to big data processing ecosystems, Databricks, AWS EMR, Apache NiFi, and ETL pipelines.
Advanced problem-solving, attention to detail, continuous learning, interpersonal, communication, and cross-functional alignment skills.
