Base Salary
$129k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering projects by providing technical direction, reviewing proposed solutions, and performing design and code reviews.
- Discover, design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and deliver medium-to-large software projects.
- Design and implement APIs and responsive web applications using the required programming and web technologies.
- Troubleshoot business and production issues, coordinate with support teams, and perform root cause analysis.
- Translate requirements into technical solutions while partnering with product management, business, project teams, and stakeholders.
- Provide project leadership, communicate status and issues, and support on-time delivery and handoffs.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and two years of software engineering or related experience; or a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and five years of experience.
- Experience designing and implementing APIs using Java and JavaScript.
- Experience with object-oriented programming using Java, Python, or R.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, MongoDB, DB2, Neo4j, or ClickHouse.
- Experience developing responsive web applications using HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, and JavaScript.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub.
- Experience with test-driven development, Agile methodologies, code reviews, architecture discussions, reusable frameworks, patterns, and configuration tools.
- Experience translating requirements into technical solutions, troubleshooting production issues, and performing root cause analysis.
