Responsibilities
- Own and build features/services relied upon by Klaviyo customers daily.
- Craft a highly-scalable, highly-available campaign pipeline for message processing.
- Collaborate with teams and stakeholders on designs and engineering practices.
- Learn and apply new technologies to evolve systems.
- Improve experimentation and development processes while mentoring other engineers.
- Participate in the technical interview process to maintain team standards.
Requirements
- 4-6+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on complex systems.
- Experience in large-scale system architecture and understanding of design tradeoffs.
- Strong problem-solving skills related to performance and scalability issues.
- Data-driven mindset with familiarity in system monitoring and alerting.
- Proven experience in coaching and mentoring team members.
- Ability to work in small, high-performing agile teams.
