Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and own new product-facing web APIs.
- Collaborate with frontend and backend teams to define integration patterns.
- Ensure APIs are scalable, maintainable, and improve developer experience.
- Establish clear contracts and predictable performance for APIs.
- Guide API usage and maintain the API platform as it matures.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with a backend focus.
- Proven experience designing APIs for high-volume product workflows.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails for API implementation and integration.
- Familiarity with modern API paradigms like REST, GraphQL, and gRPC.
- Strong communication skills and experience in cross-team collaboration.
