Base Salary
$150k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and own the agent platform, infrastructure, and integrations runtime.
- Establish engineering patterns and standards for future team members.
- Work with the founders to provide technical leadership and shape product decisions.
- Ship production-ready systems with a focus on reliability and observability.
- Own full-stack features across frontend, backend, and infrastructure with measurable customer impact.
Requirements
- 3 to 9 years of professional software engineering experience, including experience building and shipping production systems.
- Experience building a product or project from zero to one, ideally in an early-stage startup or through a substantial side project.
- Proficiency with TypeScript, React, Node.js, AWS, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience building or integrating workflows with large language models and agent-based platforms.
- Experience with production monitoring, observability, tracing, and reliable retry and queuing patterns in distributed systems.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a quantitative field, completed or in progress.
- Startup experience, broad software engineering skills, and a track record of setting patterns for growing teams are valued.
- Ability to work on-site in San Francisco or provide a concrete relocation plan, and eligibility for an O-1 visa.
