Base Salary
$200k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build backend systems that ingest and process documents from customer ERPs and inboxes.
- Develop AI agents for complex, multi-page compliance and food safety documents.
- Own features end to end across backend, frontend, and infrastructure.
- Ship quickly, incorporate user feedback, and adapt the product to evolving customer needs.
Requirements
- Typically 1 to 10+ years of experience, with demonstrated product impact and ownership valued over tenure.
- Experience building and shipping products or major features relied on by real users, including explaining technical tradeoffs.
- Strong full-stack skills across backend services, frontend development, and relational database design.
- Experience with production AI or LLM products, agents, RAG, search, or automation.
- Founding, founder, or early engineering startup experience is a strong fit.
- Familiarity with Kotlin, Spring Boot, React, Next.js, Postgres, and cloud platforms such as GCP is useful; experience with other stacks and the ability to learn Kotlin are welcome.
- Document processing, unstructured data extraction, or experience in food manufacturing, supply chain, or other traditional industries is beneficial.
Benefits
- Base salary of $200,000 to $300,000 annually plus 0.5% to 2% equity.
- Full-time, on-site role in San Francisco, California.
