Base Salary
$121k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end design and delivery of sophisticated FinTech analytics tools for investment bankers, traders, and financial analysts.
- Architect and build interactive web-based analytical dashboards using Angular and React.
- Use Starburst/Trino to query massive distributed datasets with low latency.
- Build Java/Spring Boot backend microservices for low-latency retrieval, aggregation, and streaming.
- Design and optimize high-throughput ETL processes for large-scale financial data and real-time reporting.
- Design, build, and maintain custom Model Context Protocol servers and tools connecting LLMs and AI agents to enterprise data, APIs, and reporting engines.
- Create enterprise document-generation engines with the Aspose suite.
- Review AI-generated Java, Angular, React, and SQL code for structural integrity, security compliance, and production readiness.
- Mentor junior engineers and raise team delivery and engineering quality.
- Apply Corporate and Investment Banking domain knowledge to product and technical decisions.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot for scalable, low-latency microservices and reactive streaming APIs.
- Strong hands-on experience with Angular 19+, React, TypeScript, HTML5, and WebSockets.
- Hands-on experience with Starburst/Trino and federated enterprise data querying.
- Deep experience with Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, database design, data modeling, and performance tuning.
- Proven experience designing high-throughput ETL pipelines and optimizing real-time data flows.
- Experience building document-generation engines with Aspose.Words, Aspose.Cells, and Aspose.PDF.
- Demonstrated ability to design and build custom Model Context Protocol servers connecting LLMs and AI agents to enterprise data.
- Proficiency with Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, structured prompting, and context engineering for AI agents.
- Strong experience with GitHub and Jira.
- Strong foundation in systems analysis, design patterns, data analysis, software development lifecycle practices, unit testing, and CI/CD.
- 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Preferred experience designing agentic AI workflows and integrating AI agents into CI/CD pipelines.
- Preferred understanding of event-driven systems and Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Functional understanding of Banking and the ability to explain the business impact of technical work.

- Primary location salary range is $120,800.00-$170,800.00 per year.
