Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into secure, scalable functional designs across AWS and Azure.
- Coordinate solution implementation with engineering, operations, security, infrastructure, product, support, audit teams, and external partners.
- Optimize cloud workloads using performance, cost, usage, service-health, incident, and change-outcome analysis.
- Document functional specifications, process flows, configuration guidelines, playbooks, training materials, and control evidence.
- Guide identity management, access control, data protection, security compliance, architectural reviews, and risk-reduction practices.
- Drive automation and infrastructure-as-code adoption through reusable patterns, templates, and review checklists.
- Support hybrid-cloud integration, continuous improvement, root-cause analysis, backlog prioritization, and stakeholder delivery.
Requirements
- 11 to 15 years of progressive experience in functional or solution specialist roles, including large-scale enterprise cloud transformations.
- Advanced hands-on experience with AWS compute, storage, networking, and security capabilities in complex enterprise environments.
- Advanced hands-on experience with Azure virtual machines, storage accounts, networking, and security features in regulated environments.
- Strong understanding of hybrid-cloud patterns, integration mechanisms, and migration approaches connecting on-premises systems with AWS and Azure.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security fundamentals, including identity management, encryption, network segmentation, and monitoring.
- Experience with requirements analysis, process mapping, functional documentation, and translating stakeholder needs into cloud solution designs.
- Working knowledge of DevOps and infrastructure-as-code concepts for repeatable provisioning and configuration.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and analytical skills for working with distributed technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect and Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent cloud certifications.
