Responsibilities
- Architect and lead the planning, design, and development of new software solutions.
- Work with product owners and stakeholders to understand requirements and design software that meets product needs.
- Support merging code bases across multiple project streams and contribute to coding best practices.
- Solve complex problems with scalable, secure, maintainable, and impactful software solutions.
- Contribute to technical innovation and define coding standards.
- Mentor and support software development team members and contribute to software development best practices.
- Perform software testing, implementation, and other assigned duties while complying with company policies and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Typically 8+ years of experience with hands-on object-oriented programming.
- Experience with JavaScript UI development using Angular or ReactJS and familiarity with Python.
- Experience with software development life-cycle phases, microservice architecture, and end-to-end UI/API integration.
- Knowledge of REST, gRPC, GraphQL, caching technologies, DBMS technologies, and database schema design.
- Experience drafting coding practices and designing highly scalable, secure, and maintainable software.
- Experience building or maintaining cloud-native applications and large-scale platforms handling real-time complex transactions.
- Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems and demonstrate strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with AWS core services, serverless approaches such as AWS Lambda, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.
