Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, and implement complex enterprise software enhancements and solutions.
- Deliver platform architectures and complex software platforms into production.
- Develop software using Java, C#, SQL, JavaScript, and related programming languages.
- Conduct code reviews, write unit and automation tests, and perform manual testing.
- Provide expert troubleshooting for large, mission-critical client implementations.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Managers, team leaders, and cross-team groups on software solutions and project delivery.
- Contribute to design, API, and customer documentation.
- Improve development and testing methodologies and participate in the CRD Scrum process.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or another technical field is required; a master’s degree is strongly preferred.
- At least 13 years of progressively responsible professional software engineering experience is required.
- Experience with Spring Boot, microservices, and service deployment in cloud environments is required.
- Experience with cloud-native services, Kubernetes, Kafka, message-based systems, and high-performance multi-tier database applications is required or expected.
- Authoritative experience with object-oriented programming, compiler or interpreter technologies, embedded systems, operating systems, relational databases, scripting, and advanced programming languages is required.
- At least 3 years of experience working with an Agile development methodology is required.
- At least 8 years of financial-services software experience in areas such as portfolio management, trading, compliance, post-trade, IBOR, or wealth management is strongly desired.
- Azure experience is a bonus, while Snowflake experience is a strong asset and PostgreSQL experience is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, written and verbal communication, collaboration, software design, and technical leadership abilities are required.
