Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement tailored testing strategies covering objectives, scope, testing types, execution methodology, analysis, reporting, and resource needs.
- Translate business requirements and acceptance criteria into test cases and testing scripts.
- Execute manual and automated functional, performance, compatibility, integration, and user-interface testing.
- Perform root-cause analysis on defects, mitigate project risks, and provide feedback to developers.
- Coordinate with developers, business teams, and stakeholders on testing approaches, infrastructure, results, and improvements.
- Conduct qualitative user research, persona development, user journey mapping, interviews, user testing, information architecture, and workflow creation.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing for AI components at critical release milestones and advise front-end developers on delivering model outcomes to users.
- Support accessibility and regulatory compliance, including Section 508 compliance.
- Rapidly test designs with users and communicate research and designs through wireframes, workflows, high-fidelity designs, storyboards, presentations, and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience designing test strategies for high-quality software and hardware solutions.
- Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and executing test cases.
- Knowledge of computer architecture, manual and automated testing tools, integration testing, functional testing, and bug-tracking systems.
- Experience with qualitative research, persona development, user journey mapping, user-experience flows, user interviews, user testing, information architecture, and workflow creation.
- Proficiency with C#, .NET, Python, Java, or another programming language; Visual Studio; relational databases such as MS SQL; and test design patterns.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively on an agile development team.
- Ability to obtain a USPS security clearance.
- Preferred experience with web and native mobile application testing, Selenium Web Automation, Python, Gherkin, agile development, Atlassian Jira, Bugzilla, Kubernetes, DialogFlow, and Google Cloud Computing Services.
- Experience working in a consultant/client environment is preferred.
