Responsibilities
- Administer and scale Azure subscriptions, resource groups, capacity, monitoring, security, and permissions for Central FE CAD infrastructure.
- Build, maintain, and improve Azure DevOps build, run, release, regression, quality-gate, artifact, package-management, and pipeline-agent systems.
- Own branching, version control, code review, release, test automation, environment-management, and DevOps rollout practices.
- Develop and integrate FE CAD flows and automation using Python and, as needed, TCL, Perl, and C/C++.
- Translate TFM and infrastructure requirements into roadmaps and lead them to completion with Microsoft Silicon stakeholders.
- Partner with EDA vendors, Azure platform teams, and IT/security teams on secure silicon design and verification solutions.
- Drive CI/CD and cloud infrastructure reliability through monitoring, dashboards, root-cause analysis, incident response, and preventive automation.
- Mentor team members and summer interns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 6 years of experience in CAD/EDA infrastructure, software development, or DevOps engineering.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
- At least 3 years of experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
- Experience writing software or scripts in Python, TCL, Perl, C, or C++, with Python preferred.
- Master’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field is preferred.
- Eight or more years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Preferred experience includes Azure security, Entra ID, managed identities, Key Vault, network security, governance/policy, Terraform, ARM/Bicep, Docker, Kubernetes/AKS, cloud cost optimization, front-end design and verification, object-oriented programming, and complex-project software lifecycle ownership.
- Ability to satisfy Microsoft Cloud Background Check and other applicable security-screening requirements.
