Base Salary
$179k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Make architectural decisions for the Kernel platform.
- Design GraphQL APIs for genetic constructs using Python 3, SQLAlchemy, and Strawberry.
- Architect data models representing biological systems.
- Interface with synthetic biologists to enhance their productivity.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support developed software.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience building production software.
- Deep expertise in Python 3, with knowledge of GraphQL, SQLAlchemy, and/or Strawberry preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling technical challenges.
- Experience in API design and data migrations for scalable systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a close-knit team and navigate ambiguity.
