Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Android applications using Kotlin.
- Develop new features and improve existing application functionality.
- Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, Platform, and Engineering teams across the software development lifecycle.
- Build clean, maintainable, reusable code using Android best practices and modern architectural patterns.
- Integrate REST APIs and backend services into mobile applications.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance and stability.
- Contribute to CI/CD processes and automated build and release workflows.
- Participate in architecture discussions and continuous improvement of the mobile platform.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience developing Android applications.
- Strong experience with Kotlin and solid understanding of Java for maintaining legacy components.
- Experience with MVVM architecture and dependency injection using Hilt, Dagger, or similar frameworks.
- Experience consuming REST APIs and working with modern Android libraries.
- Experience using Firebase services such as Remote Config or Feature Flags.
- Experience with Git-based version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in Agile environments using Jira or similar project management tools.
- Strong analytical, debugging, performance optimization, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Upper-intermediate to advanced English proficiency at B2+ level.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.
