Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain native Android apps, SDKs, and platform libraries for applications running on POS devices.
- Contribute to platform architecture and ensure scalability, security, performance, and modularization.
- Support continuous improvement of CI/CD processes, automated tests, and platform monitoring.
- Collaborate in technical discussions and support developers who consume the platform.
- Write high-quality code, participate in code reviews, and follow SOLID and Clean Architecture practices.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of native Android development experience using Kotlin or Java.
- Experience consuming and maintaining SDKs, libraries, or platform modules.
- Knowledge of MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture, and SOLID principles.
- Familiarity with Gradle dependency management and project modularization.
- Knowledge of Android background services, including WorkManager, ForegroundService, and BroadcastReceiver.
- Experience with Git and familiarity with CI/CD processes.
- Practical knowledge of unit testing.
- Preferred experience includes Kotlin Multiplatform, networking and protocols, OkHttpClient, UrlConnection, Ktor, Coroutines, Flows, Jetpack Compose, POS or embedded systems, LLMs and prompt engineering, Grafana, GCP, Looker Studio, Android security and cryptography, AOSP, and firmware customization.
