Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural vision and engineering standards across the full modern web stack.
- Build performant, accessible, and responsive user interfaces with React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Architect distributed web applications using Micro Frontends, Vite Module Federation, and Nx monorepos.
- Develop API and BFF layers, automated type generation, schema validation, and integrations with legacy or on-premises systems.
- Lead unit, integration, and end-to-end testing across the full lifecycle.
- Drive developer experience and code quality using linting, formatting, and Git hooks.
- Implement progressive rollouts, targeted experimentation, and runtime configuration.
- Own full-stack observability and telemetry for client-side and backend systems.
- Work with Terraform, AWS infrastructure, and GitLab deployment pipelines.
Requirements
- Deep hands-on expertise with React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Proven experience architecting distributed web applications with Micro Frontends and Vite Module Federation in Nx monorepos managed with pnpm.
- Strong knowledge of Tailwind CSS, React Router, Zustand, and TanStack Query.
- Extensive experience designing Node.js and Express API/BFF layers with OpenAPI tooling and schema validation.
- Expertise in end-to-end type safety, runtime validation, and contract-driven development using Zod.
- Experience leading unit, integration, and end-to-end testing with Vitest, Playwright, and Mock Service Worker.
- Experience with Oxlint, ESLint, Prettier, Husky, LaunchDarkly, Grafana Faro, Pino, AWS CloudWatch, and Grafana.
- Hands-on proficiency with Terraform, AWS services, ECS Fargate, Application Load Balancer, API Gateway, and GitLab CI/CD.
- Exposure to or knowledge of PHP is advantageous.
- Strong communication, collaboration, adaptability, client focus, and knowledge-sharing skills.
