Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and develop advanced ServiceNow applications, custom data models, UI components, Business Rules, client/server scripts, Flow Designer automations, and platform configurations.
- Lead technical implementations across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, APM, CSM, and HRSD modules.
- Build and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, Integration Hub spokes, and event-driven patterns.
- Perform code reviews, enforce development standards, and drive platform performance tuning and optimization.
- Mentor junior and mid-level ServiceNow developers and provide technical guidance across teams.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs, implementation plans, and scalable platform solutions.
- Troubleshoot production and integration issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.
- Maintain technical documentation including design specifications, architectural diagrams, deployment runbooks, and SOPs.
- Ensure platform changes align with security, role-based access control, audit, compliance, governance, and data stewardship standards.
- Identify automation opportunities and streamline platform processes.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience in enterprise environments.
- Expert proficiency with JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Portal development, and core ServiceNow data models.
- Strong understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes and their application to platform design.
- Proven experience building integrations with REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and integration frameworks.
- Strong understanding of CMDB structure, relationship modeling, discovery, and service mapping.
- Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, and ITIL Foundation certifications are required or strongly preferred.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture processes, ServiceNow APM, and platform governance models is preferred.
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, ownership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
