Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new or revised application systems and programs using Java, Spark, and big data technologies.
- Perform feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology activities, systems analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation.
- Monitor development phases and provide user and operational support to business users.
- Analyze complex application and business-process issues and recommend advanced programming solutions.
- Design and implement security measures through post-implementation analysis of business usage.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups and install or assist with customer-facing systems.
- Define operating standards and processes, follow essential procedures, and assess technology and control risks.
- Manage successful projects and mentor, guide, and support junior developers.
- Act as a subject-matter expert and advisor to senior stakeholders and other team members while operating with limited supervision.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of relevant experience.
- Funds Transfer Pricing domain experience is required.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Java Spark, big data technologies, and Kafka is required.
- Systems design experience is required.
- Hands-on experience with Devin and GitHub Copilot for AI-assisted development is required.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
- Working knowledge of consulting and project-management techniques and methods.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor, guide, and support junior developers.
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.
