Base Salary
$150k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and operate core services and platforms for foundational systems.
- Own projects end-to-end, from problem definition to ongoing reliability.
- Collaborate with product engineers, data teams, and operations partners.
- Enhance reliability and observability across critical workflows.
- Define and strengthen platform patterns for other teams.
- Write design documentation and participate in code reviews.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and React.
- Experience with Postgres or similar relational databases.
- Interest in understanding the broader impact of software on users.
- Ability to drive ambiguous problems to reliable production outcomes.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering workflows.
- Strong collaboration skills in a large organizational context.
- Understanding of observability and its impact on reliability.
