Responsibilities
- Plan and implement software developments, especially initiatives modernizing and enhancing existing systems.
- Technically coordinate complex developments while ensuring quality, documentation, maintainability, and sustainability.
- Design and execute developer tests and contribute to defect investigation, debugging, and resolution.
- Help maintain a stable and effective development environment for the team.
- Shape team working methods and processes and introduce agent-harnessing tools in a controlled, engineering-focused manner.
- Contribute to quality-assurance and control practices for AI-assisted development.
- Establish and maintain documentation, specifications, coding standards, patterns, security principles, and testing principles.
- Provide demonstrations, training, knowledge sharing, technical support, and professional guidance to colleagues.
Requirements
- Strong programming expertise and experience overseeing application architecture from a programming-technology perspective.
- Experience managing application lifecycles, ensuring correct implementation, and defining technology roadmaps.
- Knowledge of development planning and application architecture, including the design of frameworks, tools, and development criteria.
- Strong understanding of systems at both technological and business levels, with the ability to maintain focus across multiple projects.
- Experience establishing, maintaining, and overseeing documentation and specification frameworks.
- Experience delivering demonstrations, training, and knowledge-sharing sessions on development and methodology topics.
- Experience defining, following, and renewing industry standards such as patterns, coding conventions, security principles, and testing principles.
- Strong troubleshooting, support, and debugging skills, plus experience supporting colleagues’ professional and methodological development.
- Experience modernizing or refactoring legacy systems is an advantage.
- Experience using agent-harnessing tools or AI-assisted developer workflows in a deliberate and controlled way is an advantage.
- Experience in complex enterprise development environments and a relevant informatics, engineering, or related technical higher-education degree are advantages.
