Responsibilities
- Establish and sustain continuous integration and deployment processes utilizing CI/CD tools.
- Oversee the deployment, scaling, and management of applications using Kubernetes.
- Design and manage cloud-based solutions, primarily on Azure.
- Utilize Terraform for provisioning and management of cloud resources.
- Work closely with security teams to fortify infrastructure security.
- Implement and oversee monitoring and logging solutions.
- Assist software development teams by troubleshooting and optimizing performance.
- Deploy applications into challenging environments while ensuring smooth deployment.
- Engage in problem-solving at both design and debugging stages.
- Enhance and build Docker images for production environments.
- Experiment with the latest development tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 6 years of DevOps and cloud experience.
- Experience with any flavor of Linux.
- Experience with containers and container orchestration.
- Experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
- Production experience building and maintaining cloud infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes, specifically AKS and Helm.
- Strong understanding of Terraform use cases and best practices.
- Experience setting up production-grade networking with hybrid clouds.
- Intimate knowledge of protocols such as TCP and HTTP(S).
- Experience with any scripting language (Bash, Python, etc.).
- Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud certification.
- Understanding of security and compliance in a DevOps context.
