Responsibilities
- Own Android product features end-to-end from discovery and technical design through implementation, rollout, and iteration.
- Drive technical decisions with Product, Design, and Backend while balancing UX, performance, security, and time-to-market.
- Improve app architecture, performance, reliability, maintainability, and testing strategy.
- Solve mobile challenges involving real-time synchronization, resilience patterns, smooth navigation, and a codebase of approximately 1,000 modules.
- Lead code reviews and technical discussions, share engineering patterns, and mentor peers.
- Collaborate in a squad of 5 to 10 people within Qonto’s mobile engineering community.
Requirements
- Strong native Android experience shipping and maintaining production features with Kotlin.
- Experience owning technical decisions end-to-end.
- Commitment to unit, UI, and snapshot testing, clean code, and pragmatic engineering standards.
- Ability to solve ambiguous problems and turn complex constraints into robust solutions.
- Daily use of AI coding tools to improve engineering output.
- Fluent English communication and willingness to contribute through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentorship.
