Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain software and services that efficiently provision and deliver UltraServer compute to customers.
- Improve the quality, availability, observability, and performance of EC2 systems.
- Own key business outcomes and trade-off decisions.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, software, and operations teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of programming experience in a modern language such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: knowledge of computer architecture, operating systems, and parallel computing.
- Preferred: knowledge of ML frameworks, cluster management, or embedded systems.
