Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and build scalable big data services for millions of users and systems.
  • Develop and maintain AWS-based solutions that improve visibility and tracking of security exposures.
  • Drive innovation across the Amazon and AWS ecosystem using technologies such as Java, Python, and scalable service architectures.
  • Own solutions across the roadmap, architecture, implementation, and continuous iterative development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with compliance, application security, and other teams to identify and address impactful security issues.
  • Solve complex technical problems across multiple organizations and technologies.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
