Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver software features for event-based data storage systems and agentic infrastructure from design through deployment and operations.
  • Maintain, refactor, and enhance foundational services and analytics platforms for performance, scalability, operational excellence, and reduced technical debt.
  • Design and implement data access interfaces, agent frameworks, and authorization systems within established architectures.
  • Implement encryption, access controls, audit trails, PII handling, compliance features, data deletion APIs, and customer opt-out mechanisms.
  • Build and improve self-service agentic platforms and control planes while balancing feature development, operations, and governance.
  • Partner with internal builder teams, scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into sustainable foundational tools and services.
  • Mentor teammates through code reviews, documentation, knowledge sharing, technical discussions, and training.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 3+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience across the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Preferred: Production experience with data access controls, authorization systems, and multi-tenant data isolation.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of PII handling, data pseudonymization, privacy-preserving techniques, self-service data platforms, control planes, data lineage, audit trails, and compliance reporting systems.
