Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated functional and non-functional tests across the software delivery lifecycle.
- Contribute to automation framework design and enhancement and maintain traceability from user stories through test cases to automated scripts.
- Identify dependencies and define and communicate environmental and test data requirements.
- Act as a technical expert on one or more DTCC applications and evaluate technical solutions consistent with technology standards.
- Partner with team members to understand requirements and design automated tests that validate functionality while considering privacy and security requirements.
- Create applications and unit test cases that ensure compliance with functional requirements.
- Integrate automated testing with CI/CD pipelines and help maintain continuous testing processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams on development, testing, troubleshooting, and overall software quality improvement.
- Monitor and mitigate risk through day-to-day risk and control processes and escalate issues appropriately.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of related experience.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium and TestNG.
- Experience with CI/CD technologies and tools including CloudBees, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Cucumber, Git, JUnit, and Jira.
- Strong experience with automated testing and backend API test automation using Rest Assured or Karate.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java or Python.
- Knowledge of databases and SQL, including the ability to write and optimize SQL queries.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies and onsite/offshore coordination models.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, written communication, verbal communication, and collaborative teamwork skills.
