Base Salary
$90k - $117k/yr
Responsibilities
- Automate security processes and maintain CI/CD templates to improve security accessibility and tooling maturity.
- Perform application code analysis, application security testing, mobile application security testing, and manual vulnerability analysis.
- Assist product teams with vulnerability remediation and provide developers with security guidance.
- Research, define, and communicate secure development best practices and standards.
- Support security architecture design reviews and threat modeling for products.
- Create technical documentation and standard operating procedures as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in a STEM field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Ability to automate processes through scripting or coding, with Python preferred.
- Working knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and/or CWE 25.
- Basic understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD, SDLC processes, web and app security, API security, and cloud technologies and security.
- Working knowledge of application testing methods including SAST, DAST, MAST, RAST, and IAST.
- Working knowledge of programming languages and scripting.
- Working knowledge of technical documentation and SOP creation.
- Preferred: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, Certified Application Security Engineer, AWS technology experience, and knowledge of C#, Java, Python, Swift, and JavaScript.
- Preferred: familiarity with threat modeling, secure coding, identity management, authentication and authorization, cryptography, system administration, network security, cloud computing, WAF, micro-segmentation, and vulnerability management.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
