Responsibilities

Design, implement, and deploy new product features.
Review and test teammates’ code.
Monitor production applications, investigate incidents, and fix bugs.
Build and maintain Python APIs supporting customer-facing products, frontends, authorization, and authentication systems.
Improve engineering practices, identify technical improvements, mentor less-experienced engineers, and promote product quality.
Use and critically evaluate AI-assisted development tools and contribute to relevant AI/LLM product capabilities and team practices.

3 to 6+ years of experience as a software engineer.
Experience in a fast-growing startup or scale-up environment and meaningful contribution to a large web application, especially backend systems.
Solid backend development experience, ideally with Python, plus comfort with JavaScript or TypeScript.
Understanding of web-related security risks or strong motivation to learn them.
A full-stack and DevOps mindset, fluent written and spoken English, and hands-on experience with AI development tools.
Pragmatic product focus, effective communication, constructive disagreement handling, and willingness to challenge the status quo.
