Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable, modular, and high-performance software modules integrating MITK, VTK, and OpenGL on Linux.
Contribute to the architecture of C++/Qt-based medical imaging platforms.
Guide technical decisions and conduct design and architecture reviews.
Collaborate with R&D, Product, QA, and UX stakeholders to align architecture with product goals.
Identify and mitigate architectural risks while ensuring system robustness and maintainability.
Contribute to strategic planning, technology roadmaps, and long-term platform evolution.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

Bachelor's degree and six years of relevant experience or equivalent experience.
Hands-on software development experience, including system design and architecture.
Advanced proficiency in C++ with modern standards and best practices.
Deep experience with the Qt framework, including GUI, multithreading, Signals/Slots, and custom widgets.
Expertise in MITK and VTK for medical imaging applications.
Strong understanding of OpenGL for real-time rendering and graphics optimization.
Extensive Linux development and deployment experience.
Experience defining and documenting software architectures, interfaces, and system components.
Strong understanding of software design patterns, performance optimization, and large-scale system design.
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems such as Git.
Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
