Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with manufacturing partners and engineering teams to structure data content and data pipelines.
- Architect, design, develop, test, and maintain database software applications on GCP.
- Create and manage managed databases across Google Cloud database services.
- Design and develop ETL pipeline software using C, C++, software frameworks, and Python.
- Apply software development standards and best practices for requirements documentation, design, coding, and testing.
- Use Terraform to automate critical infrastructure and integrate AI/ML methods to improve productivity.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, leadership, engineers, program managers, and data scientists to understand business and application needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience creating and managing managed databases on GCP, including Cloud SQL, AlloyDB, Cloud Spanner, and Cloud Bigtable.
- 5 years of experience developing ETL software solutions using C, C++, software frameworks, and Python.
- 5 years of experience developing automation using Terraform.
- 5 years of experience developing analytical reports and dashboards.
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred.
- Preferred experience includes architecting database solutions for component suppliers and subassembly houses, using Gemini and AI/ML methods, working with Docker containers, and developing semiconductor software systems.
